new Wheels

i have just collected my new wheels for my MK1 Cabriolet, two 6inch and 2 7inch with a ET of 38 is this a direct fit or do i need spacers or anything?

the centre seams a lil bigger than on my Estorils is this ok or do i need to do something about this

sorry if it seams such a silly question, completely new to this game, all previous cars have been normal spec with no changes

If the centre bore of the wheel is too big you'll need spiggot rings which clip into the hole to bring the bore to the correct size. You should be able to get them from an alloy wheel stockist.

sponge and a bucket of water wouldnt go amiss too !!!      

Yeah, get the spigots mate, they're easy to get hold of provided they're a standard size. You need them otherwise the wheels will wobble at about 65mph and be horrible to drive.

BTW they look nice.

you will only need spacers if they catch the brakes or rub on the suspension up-rights OR you want the wheels to stick out more
