My recently acquired 1992 Cabrio GTI ravage interior is more than a little tatty. I've been looking at replacing it but its unlikely i'll get a cream leather interior just popping up for sale. I had a look at Autoleathers and there prices seem good for leather, but even better for Leatherette. I know leather is the best option but as money is an issue(when isn't it) what are peoples thoughts on leatherette at £185 for a set of custom made covers they look a good deal. any opinions welcomed
Thanks Chris

Hi mate , depends if it's a daily driver , leatherette won't last long if it is , alternately you can get some cream leather from a wholesaler and get a coach trimmer to fit it .

Forgot to add about 2.5 mts will do it . Excluding door cards , I reckon £200 -£250 to do the job .
