Here's a brief list of stuff done…
All rust cut out and replaced with new metal - the shell is very sound underneath but was scabby in the usual places. When I got the car It had been respayed very badly (no glass or trim off!!) with laquer peeling. that's why I prompted for a bare metal respray of all the outer panels.
The interior was resprayed also.
The interior and trim are near mint as well as all the exterior trims, plastics etc.
I used this as my daily driver for a while and it drive and handled brilliantly. I went through the brakes and sorted them - mainly requiring adjustment, cleaning, new shoes/pads etc. Suspension is as I got it except I've corrected the front camber and tracking. I'ts got some slightly lower front springs on and am in half a mind to change them but will agree this with the buyer.
Same with wheels - got a full set of Pirelli wheels and caps to go on but will probably agree with buyer what rubber they want fitting as lots of people have their own tastes!
The engine runs really well and was apparently fitted to this car about 55k ago. Compressions are good with no oil burning etc. It's got an FD box in it at the mo so I'm going to fit a correct 9A one so I can get the various bits and pieces working.
:edit: Oh yeah - fully waxoiled also :edit:

Yeah it is - I havn't pushed it yet cos I've not quite finished. Just a few things like putting the stickers on the b post and rear panel, fit dash undertray, do the centre caps….
Just havn't had time recently.
Been painted now for 6+months and the paint is looking great (been outside all the time) - no problems that you get with some paint jobs.
Still be looking for ?3700 when done - would take less if someone wanted to do the final bits and bobs.
