my rust......

i have taken some pictures of the rot on the wheel well of my car, what do you recon? its not all that bad, at least it doesnt look too bad,





pics are a bit upside down but you get the idea,

do you think i could cut out the brace and remake it in fibreglass?

if it was mine i would grind it down to see how bad it really is then cut out the rust and a bit around it till you can get a solid bit to weld and put a piece of wheel well from another car in. weld it up so its nice and neat rather than patch it up . u can never really tell how bad it is until u rid the area of all sealer etc.

yeah doesn't look too bad, but as deanomk1 says you definately need to have a better look at it, and I'd certainly want to weld in new metal rather than try with glass fibre.
