mk1 with berg cup kit

hiya im gona buy the berg cup kit on ebay and just need to know some info,
would my 9 inch wide wheels fill the widht of the arches or would i need
to get spacers thank for reading

you may need spacers, it depends on the offset of the wheels your using, do they stick very far out from a standard arch? i think the rear arches are wider on the cup kit arent they?

yeh around an inch wider at the back,the wheels stick out around 1 inch wider than
the original,but the berg arches are nearly 8 inches out from the body of the car!
