Mk1 wheelarch liners?

Hi All,

Quick question - did Mk1's ever come with plastic wheelarch liners?

The reason I ask is because I would like to fit something like that to protect the wheelarches and inner wings on my '75 Mk1, seems to just have bare metal in there.

I wondered if any later cars had these or something similar which I could use? Failing that it'll have to be an underseal job I suppose? Any thoughts or suggestions much appreciated

Ah good news, cheers Bert. Any idea where I could pick up a set or should I just look out for someone breaking an '83 car?
