mk1 tt dash

hi again all, am i right in saying a mk1 audi tt dash can be fitted in a mk1? has anyone done it? or is there another dash that will fit?

Not done it myself but yes it will fit however requires alot of work

I think theres a build thread on Vortex which shows the process so might be worth looking on there.

i wounder if some one could do it and get it all fitted with the frame and send it up to me? dont want to use mk1 gti clocks as im putting a 1.8t in the car

Your best bet would probably be to phone round some of the specialists and see if theyre willing to take it on.

When I was thinking of doing a Corrado dash conversion the guys at Carbon Motive (based in Kent) seemed really keen on the job so it miht be worth giving them a call or dropping them a message through their facebook page.

In that thread there's a yellow MK1 with a TT dash. I think it looks awesome. Would be worth the work IMO.
