Minor but annoying Cabrio issues.

Back in the restoration mood. Got cabrio going, but bonnet pops when going over potholes -lots in Scotland. Tried to tweak the position of fitting plate on bonnet but no joy. The insert piece with spring looked to have a definite angle to it (towards engine bay) so tried tapping this straighter. Still no joy!! Is it just easier to buy a new insert or could it be the lock itself is knackered. I also undid the bonnet cable to see if too 'tight' -again no joy.
Second point is oil light staying on, but have had no signs of oil pressure rising on driving. Anyway to tell if just a fault with instrumentation panel, or can I try changing an oil sensor on the engine. with the help of Haynes?
Last point, on driver side the connector rod from the interior locking mechanism which you push down has come away from the door lock mechanism itself. I have obtained the white plastic bit it fits into, which in turn locates into the door lock. Have tried to get the 'star'  bolts on this door lock undone so can get in and relocate this connecting rod , but cant shift one of them. Also Haynes  not brilliant on solving this problem Any ideas?
All help gratefully received,
Cheers,

try locating the torx bit into the stud and thawping it with a BFH that some times help's matey even as rough as it sounds, or an impact driver and steady away
