matching locks?

had to replace my boot lock with a brand new one and could do with getting it matched up with the main key, i know how to do it but where can i get the parts? cheers, jim

you have to buy a set of lock dowels when i bough mine a few years ago it was about £30 for the set

boot locks are a git to re tumble as there is a locking dowel holding it all together but its shoved right up to a metal plate. you need to get the pin out before you can strip it and theres no gap! one solution i thought of was carefully hacksaw the pin where its up against the plate so you can get a screwdriver in to lever the pin out
