Mars Red Paint Code

Hi

Apparently there are two paint codes for Mars Red.  I have an 83 Campaign in Mars red, but can't find the paint code in it anywhere!    Could anyone tell me what is the paint code for this model, as i need to order some touch-up paint.

Appears to be Mars Red 2.  It has been resprayed at some point - so just hoping they sprayed it in that colour

Most motor factors and spray shops can do a colour match for you

Cheers all for the help.   :mrgreen: I have lots of little rust spots the size of half a 5p piece and less on the drivers door.  I've rubbed them down and used rust treatment.  Was hoping to use touch up paint on them, and fingers crossed it matches.

its a very hard job to touch up "patches" on old cars. you have to take into conideration how much that paint has faded.

I managed to get some mars red2 paint, but its only available in spray form.  Was deleted back in April '99.  The car has been resprayed to a good standard previously, but i now think its in mars red1!!!!!!    Mars red2 appears to be much more orange.

Fortunately you can still get mars red1 in touch-up form.  Just thought i'd let you guys know, incase there is anyone in a simullar situation.
