making opening 1/4's from fixed?

got some brown tint glass and want to fit to my swallowtail mk1 golf - i have opening 1/4's in clear glass but want to try and cut down the original fixed brown tint glass so i can fit them as opening windows.

holding the two up against each other - i notice they both have the same curve - so hopefully i can find somewhere that can cut the glass down to correct size and drill holes in correct place -

seems doable but wondered if anyones tried it before?

I think, as it's toughened, you can't do it, unless you know somebody with a water jet type cutter.

Most large engineering firms should have one mate. I have a business associate that is in the process of buying one. Leave it with me, I'll see what the score is :)
