lifting plate

Hi guys iam looking for if poss,,a new lifting plate according to the haynes manual,,, the bit that holds the glass in place & makes it go up & down,,everything else in the door is ok its just the metel plate thats rotted away,,if i cant get a new one would  a rear door lifting plate fit from a Mk1,,Mk2  ????,, :dontknow: ,,,its for a Mk 1 Golf Driver 1.3,.,.,. 3Dr,,,,any help would be great cheers Rick  :wink:
