lenght of side tensioners?

Hi just bought some side tensioners for mk1 cabby. I fitted them and when i tryed to close roof they both snapped  uch: .Does anybody know the correct lenght of these cables. help me please

Where did you get them from and what car do you have?

I got mine from chequers as well but they were fine I have them fitted as well

Found the problem. didnt know there was springs at the rear of the roof mine are missing. now does anybody know where to get these from.cheers for your help
