Leaking Cab.....
Noticed yesterday after all the rain of late that the rear footwells of teh Cab are damp… Can't see an obvious way in either.. It's been almost bone dry right up until this weekend (couple small drips from header rail/release handles in absolute monsoon rain)…
Any ideas where I should be looking? All the window seals seem tight and it only seems to be rear footwells… not obvious water trails down door/1/4 cards…

If the roof is good then the most common things are to check the two drain holes in the scuttle area under the bonnet, they might be blocked and also check the polythene membrane behind the doorcards, this could be split or missing altogether.

Watch out for Wooders, I'm sure he'll have something to say.

Hehe, I wonder if I can make you hit bone.
Would it go something like 'if you had a proper roof it wouldn't leak'?

Cheers Terry/Ross…
Will check boot tonight.. will also free out the scuttle drain holes as I think they maybe the main culprit as the footwell carpets seem slightly damp too.. But that could just be wet feet! All door, rear1/4 membranes appear to be intact too but will double check them and the associated drain holes too… Parcel shelf carpet's dry so guess not rear window…
I was expecting the "Get a proper roof" comments however a mates Mk1 Tin-top leaked worse than this so

Was scuttle drain tubes, no leaks since.. Yay… Same as Corrados..
Top tip as we go into this time of year.. Check the scuttle drain tubes are clean (Obvious first place I should have looked! But the scuttle was clean, obviouslt previous owner had cleared the scuttle area and not the tubes! )
