could be from rear lights or boot seal,or have the door cards been removed at some time ?  check the plastic cover is still intact on the doors, is there any sign of a leak at the front ? could be windscreen seal, grommet out of place on a cable going through the bulkhead, blocked drain channels in sunroof (if factory fit ) , blocked drain channels in corners of bulkhead, leaking in via heater blower. have a look at those usual suspects. if anybody else has any ideas please add to it. cheers jim

same problem here mate, mine leaks and the rear passenger side footwell gets wet, not 2 inches or owt but soaks the carpet! it doesnt go either :(  my car smells of damp and iv not figured out where its coming from yet! think door or tailgate rubbers may be the culprit

Pull the carpets & trim and gentley coat the bodywork in talc. Then wait for rain (shouldn't be too long the weather we are getting!) or use a hosepipe - watch out for the hosepipe ban though - wouldn't want your neighbours to report you

One of mine used to leak in from one of the rear quarter windows seals and run in behind the seat, worth a look as people often overlook them.

keep on keeping on

Mine does the same and is leaking through the windscreen seal and running down by the bonnet release lever. I've taken the wind deflectors off and bought a new seal but have not got aroiund to fitting it yet. Try pulling the carpet back under the lever and pouring some water over the wind deflector, you'll see it almost instantly if you have the same problem.
