Is there a knack to getting the glovebox lid off?
I was running a new aerial through today and thought while I was at it I'd take the lid off and glue the lifting vinyl back down.
I've take the four hinge screws out and it moves freely, but I can't get the arm and rod it connects to clear enough of the slot to rotate/wiggle it clear :dontknow:
Do I have to dismantle the dash?
It's an '83 S2 tin top btw.
Cheers

I think the link you refer to is the rod that I referred to. I can't get my arm anywhere near it, so I'm guessing that it's a case of taking the lower part of the dash out of the way first.
Think I'm going to have to do it anyway, because I've obviously done something stoopid as the two hinges will now not line up for me to get all four screws back in
And there was me thinking once I'd got the little niggles done that'd be it all sorted
Cheers
