Interior roof in a clipper.

Hi guys,
Im wondering if anyone has a pic of there interior roof skin?
Mine sort of just hangs there im wondering if it has to be fixed in some sort of way? it is fixed at the sides but the roll bar keeps the mid up and the back sides are slightly over the window at the side.

it has loops of fabric which are glued over the cross members down the roof, can be repaired without removign the main hood fully. undo the screws holdign the metal strip at the leading edge of the roof, then peel it off from there, i cant remember if its underneath the hood material or not? either way just peel the hood material off if its in the way, dont worry the hood wont fall off as long as you dont peel it back too much ;)

drill out a rivet in the front corners then work your way back till you get to the c pillars. you should now be able to spot where things have gone wrong, to fix it you need some good contact adhesive, I used the stuff that comes in a popt and brushes on. coat both bits to be glued and give it 30seconds or so to go tacky, thenfix in place. do this with hood shut dso you can get it to sit how you want.

if the strips you need have come off the headliner you need to cut your own fabric and glue this to the headliner securely, then glue to the cross bars as above.

the other issue you might come across is your hood bag may be split, if so you can either just leave it or attempt to repair, I remade the whole bag which took me ages, but you would have to peel off the roof skin to do this. you could make up a rough n ready bag, run it underneath the material then fold it over the top, half open the roof and roughly glue it together. doesnt need to be perfect just secure enough and not to bad to look at from the sides. I managed to find some strong black waterproof fabric for mine on ebay.  Luckily I had a spare hood frame in my garage which i used as a template, 7 hours of backstiching later and it looked pretty factory! I used the side strips of vinyl as well so from the sides tyou would never know, and the material would prob last better than the crappy sack like material it used from the factory
