how do i take the front and rear seat apart ?

Hi
my car is a 1980 ´vert
ill like to take away the upholstery on the seats since thay dont look nice
the fabric is ok.. but its like it have come apart from the foam specially the front seats..
i have searched on the forum but cannot find a proper description how i take the fabric off..

also how do i take off the tilt seat lever?

Hi mate not sure if it helps but I've took the fabric off the seats in my mk1 thread take a look it's on about page 11 roughly

rears are similar but just take the bench and the back apart with the two screws/bolts where the seat hinges then the covers sort of clip round the frame then hook into the metal wires in the foam like the fronts, should be able to work it out fairly easily if you haven't done so already, but hope that helps
