how do i take my window winder off??

while my girlfriend was winding the window down tonight - my window winder has come loose!!! won't push back on, won't pull off! it simply spins. looks there must be a circlip to secure it. can somebody tell me how to remove it properly, as i don't want to damage anything thanks. simon.

you in the wrong bit mate but use a small screwdriver to pop off the cover there will be a philips screw under it tighten it pop the cover back on job done :wink:  :mrgreen:
