how are the arches held on??

how are the arch's and bumpers held on?

i'm going to remove them and clean/ protect them as i've heard they can be a weak point. cheers in advance pete

Looking at mine I think the arches are screwed on.

I have the same dilema as you, taking them off, box of worms…??

yeah they are just held on with self tapping screws, at the back end some (if still original) have rivets in some areas

yeah i'm thinking about removin them just to check for rust an clean (if theirs anything left to clean)

not looked in too much detail well tbh not really looked at all.

it'll go onto the TO DO list for now me thinks.

arch trims

its a real box of worms, unless you have deep pockets leave them, as soon as you start to have a poke you`ll regret it

I can't comment on clippers. One arch on mine was held on by rust and mud. The other was some glue. There were plastic screw fasteners at one time. Be prepared to find some ugly scenes underneath.
Personally I prefer a car without arches just smooth lines.
