Hood fitting around Edinburgh & Lothians

Need to replace the hood on my Cab.  I've been scowering the web for a decent price for the hood itself and have found a guy in Loanhead who will fit it for c?300 or supplied and fit one for c?600.

I thought that was a little bit steep?  

Any ideas guys?

Car Hoods Northern told me they come up to Glasgow every 2 weeks to do hoods so maybe worth giving them a try. They quote 445 for supply and fit but maybe more if they are doing it there. I didn't enquire further as it would take me a day to get there as it is so I still have a ripped hood! If you are a member of the club, you get discount at CHN too so try them.

Mate, if you're spending ?400 might as well make it ?600 and get a proper job done. I just had mine fitted by the chap out at Loanhead and he was fantastic. Does all sorts of cars from MG's to BMW's etc. Worth the extra in my opinion.
