hood change help needed!!asap

i have a black roof on my gl which ive noticed is slightly lifting at the front where the roof comes down & meets the windscreen,i also have a white convertible which im selling & am thinking maybe after todays rain! swapping the outer skins over,how do i do it & is it easyish,would look nice with my white seats too! dont want to change the complete frame because the white hood fram doesnt lock properly on one side when the roof is down,would swap complete roof if i can find out why the white framed roof doesnt lock down properly when down(is only on passsenger side,drivers side locks down when roof is open/down,any help most gratefully needed!!!cheers Paddy,need to change it before the car gets sold!
