Hinge bound door Any advice?

My drivers door seams to be "hinge bound"and needs a good slam to shut.
The passenger door shuts with ease, but the drivers seams a little tight to shut.
The gaps around the panels are good, the striker etc is all ligned up but it may just be tight on the seal :dontknow:
Hinges and everything is well lubed.

Any tips guys?

Open the window and try it.  My money says it will shut with ease.

It's that good quality German manufacture - i.e. no leaks in the car - a sign of a good shell and fit up IMO.

So it's good  :D

skid

see these catches - if the centre rubber type part is missing or worn the door is a pig to shut - these are shiny one's from ebay but i understand you can still buy new from VW dealers . My rubber bits were missing and the only way to shut the door properly was to open the window first !! Try it it does work …..

I used to leave my sunroof opened up a touch (tilt and slide) otherwise the sunroof used to "jump" when I had to slam the door shut.
