Help with fitting roof

In the process of fitting a second hand electric roof to my 91 clipper.  All gone to plan ish so far and I think I have got evrything back where it should be, no spare nuts or bolts or screws!!

However when the roof is closed it doesnt seem to come far enough forward and to get it to touch the top of the windscreen takes a lot of force, see picture below.  Is this right or can it be adjusted somewhere in the roof.
