help please (ignition barrel housing) 84 gti cabrio

im tryin to change ignition housing can anybody give us some advise on how to remove the steering wheel spline sleave ?

If you mean the large adaptor for the later larger spline steering wheel ? You need a suitable puller to pull it off the smaller one . Some have bashed it off but that's at you peril .
