HELP! Leaky Cabby!
My 1980 Cabby leaks over the windscreen where the roof meets the header board.
It leaks in the two top corners.
Anyone have any ideas how to fix this?

you need this
http://www.vwgolfmk1.org.uk/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=63414
and this
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=150230609897&viewitem=&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWAX%3AIT
plus you need to make sure the last seal actually makes contact with the header seal.
hope this helps

I can vouch for this as chortle also gave me this advise last week. The gasket is good stuff (nice and thick) also would definately recommend getting the new screws as well as mine was pretty rusty. I actually was doing mine today, got half way through and then the heavens opened
I found having thinners handy is a good thinig too, the existing gasket doesn't want to come off too easily
