GTI Splitter meets Speed Bump...

It was raining really bad and it was a diversion, was doing about 30 then I seen the bump so tried to slow down.. still hut it too fast and my plate thats connected to my splitter broke :/

how does the gti splitter connect.. 1 screw in the middle and 2 plugs either side?

If you are talking about the duckbill spoiler at the front? then it is attached by a row of bolts that bolt through the spoiler through the front valance with a nut and washer on the rear side of the valance.

They are a pain when the car has been lowered. I am now on my fourth duckbill and the one on there at the moment is only just hanging on. I am scared to go the route of having the shorter spoiler as I don't see her being that low…

Ah see it's only from the middle it's bit loose, hate hidden speed bumps!

[update] managed to get it back on fine, broke a tiny bit of plastic in the middle but my number plate covers it.
