Grille eyelid fitting

:? Does anyone know why my grille eyelid/brow doesnt sit flush?!!!!
When fitted it dipped in the middle so loosened screws off then when shut the bonnet the screws show!!!! :dontknow:

mine too, i doesnt fit centeral at all, sound like you picked a cheapy 1 up like i did

:roll: Oops, got that wrong way round! What i meant was when screws were tightened they showed in gap under bonnet so loosened them and now not flush with grille! It kind of  shows more of the top bar in the middle now so its not straight. Thought it was better than screws showing though but  mad that its not 100%. Got it from Volksbits  so thought would be good..

think they are all like that. i know the one on a5opys motor is. we had a discussion about hiding the screws. we came up with a few options that range from screw caps from b and q to a strip of tape. thre was also take of making a clip on strip that rapped round either end to hold it in place. that way it can be body coloured.
