definitely NOT, these contain bleaches and you will end up with pink or orange splodges.
You need to brush the roof down with a soft brush.
Soft soap flakes with warm water brush and agitate rinse off clean water.

I use one that I picked up from wilkinsons, about 6" x 3" with very soft bristles.
Failing that, a dedicated cleaner like 303 aerospace then there protectant on top.
Mine had a few bits of mould around the stitching when it was in the bodyshop but came off easily enough.
Avoid scratching away at it as that may damage the roof.

If you search google you will see that most valeters use this method and charge you for the exspensive 303 treatment
