GLASS SUNROOF

my glass sunroof was sealed shut by a previous owner so i un sealed it to see if it would open.
it got half way and got stuck… all the runners and the actual mechanism has rusted and broken.
is there another sunroof from another vag model that would fit? or is there a repair kit any one makes?

all glass roofs in the mk1 are aftermarket, so you might struggle to get one that fits. if you're lucky you might find another car in the scrappy with the same make of glass roof as yours!

what i would think about though is maybe get a polo openair roof or similar, those are pretty funky
