front gti spolier fixing

hi guys what is the best way to fix the front polier to the valence, nuts and bolts ?
if so what size ?

I was under the impression there attached via plastic clips! Makes sense? Nuts and bolts wouldn't be fun if you took it off on a speed bump! I know they are available from chubnut! If you cant get hold of him on here then just buy them off his eBay page! Only a couple quid !

I used stainless nuts and bolts with nylon washers to avoid pait damage. Can't recall what sizes I used though

M5 or M6 is the best size. I think the smaller (CL style) spoilers are held with clips but the slightly larger GTI/C formel E spoiler uses screws. I used repair washers (large ones) but cut down to an approx semi circle, and its held it on fine. Mind you, I'm on spoiler #5 now, but it goes with the territory of running a car lowered a lot! Plenty of times the spoiler's been hit and come off, but previously I used smaller washers and the plastic bent but didn't break, so it could be re-used.
