Front Grill

Hi All

Having a bit of trouble with getting the front grill off!!
Want to take the red strips off so that I can repaint them> Done what Haynes suggest (Screwdriver down in between grill and front panel and wedge out)……the plastic fixings wont budge. Also are the plastic fixings easy to get?? Where??

Hi mate,

Have you pushed the small pins out of the clips holding the grill on,
if so giggle the glips and they should pop off, and the red surround you just  need a screw driver and bend the bent over arms back (be gentle)
for painting.
new clips you can get them from VW or GFS.
