Folding rear seats in cabby... How!?

Just got a mk1 cabriolet. Can't seem to find out how to fold the rear seats down? Anyone know?

Open your boot and above your rear left tail light there is a handle, pull it out towards the rear of the vehicle. This allows the seat to be unlatched.
The inside the vehicle between the rear seat back and the rear left "door" card there is a little handle / bracket (you may have to pull the seat back away from the door card to see it), pull this handle towards the front of the vehicle and the rear seat will fold forward.
It's a bit long winded and well over engineered for security and safely.
