Fitting opening quater light windows

So I've managed to get a set if opening quater light windows off a bloke in California. Has anyone ever fitted these I have no idea…. Will I need to take the hole window out? How's it done?

Be interested to see the replies. I recently bought a clear set to fit to my project so any tips would be great.

door card off, window seals off, unbolt the front qtr window and remove.

fitting is reversal of removal,

there isn't much in the mk1 door to confuse you, once you open it up you'll see what needs to be done.

One little tip, make sure the window is wound fully down when you refit the runner.  Setting this up correctly could save stripping the door card off again.
(doing it wrong jams the window when attempts made to go down)
Just check and double check prior to putting door card back on.

Don't worry we will be trial testing it before putting it back together, I know what you're like!
