filler neck to body

Hi,

Before i got my grubby mits on my golf sombody (lloks like VW) has replaced the filler neck, trouble is the area of the body around the filler neck exit  is rotten, is there a repair panel as the sticker does not cover it if i just clean it up. Not sure filler will live long there.
