Early mk1 seat belt clip mounts

Hi guys,

On the early mk1 golf seat belts where you just loop the strap through the clip where exactly do you mount the clip part?

Ive got seats from an early mk1 golf too and theres no mount on them for the clip part of the seat belt.

I see in this diagram (bit at bottom of part 10) that theres some kind of bracket that holds the two belt clips together. Is this what I need ?
I see theres two slits cut in my carpet (also from an early golf) as if they came through there at some point.

All sorted now, took the seats out and realised that the clips bolt to the bit attached to the part of the seat that goes in the runner. :roll:
