Droopy Door help
Had a search but cant seem to find any info on repairing a dropped door.
My passenger door has dropped, looks fine when shut but noticably falls off the striker bolt when opened.
Is it as simple as shiming the lower hinge?? if so what can be used to shim the hinge?? Do I need to mess about moving the striker once the hinges is shimmed as the gap around the door is correct when shut??????
Any help greatly appreciated.

open the door, grab it at the bottom at the open end and lift it so it bend a bit, this does not damage it,

Are the hinges worn? Can you wobble the door up and down when its open? If not you've simply got VW droopy doors.
Place a place of wood under the door and use a jack to lift it a little. Worked fine on my Cabrio.

The trouble with doing nothing is that you never know when you are finished.
