Door fitting problem

Im having a problem with drivers door
What would be the best way to move this door about 5mm backwards?

Hmm - That is quite a gap…

Perhaps the hinges have been bent somehow in the past?
What does it look like at the wing, or isn't the wing on the car?

Hings look ok, the wing side is too thin.

Like AL said the hinges could be bent forward ,have you any pictures of them and also the gap between front wing and door?
