does any one know what golf or caddy this comes off??????

hi guys i bought a bumper on ebay i have never seen one before and was listed as rare,does any one know what model this comes off and is there a matching rear bumper that goes with it.
i will find out the part number on the back and put up here next time im down the yard.

forgot to say it has vw stamped on it so must be origanal vw part.

where is the vw stamp, on the plastic or the metal? could be the metal is oem and it had aftermarket plastic clipped onto it

the vw is on the plastic i will be down the garage tommorow i will get the part number.

wow that is a rare piece then, ive never seen one before! we'll see if the number works in etka, im thinking not it'll be in the accessories catalogue instead

im off down the garage i will write the number down.i bought it on ebay i liked the look of it and my car was writen off back 3 years ago by local car thiefs they made a right mess of it and was needing a bumper.

That is a Citigolf bumper fella.

duh yeah of course, feel liek a dumbass now lol

This is my citi.
Only thing changed was the front spoiler at bottom of front bumper as citi golf doesnt come the one, it looked too fat for the car, that one is the mk3 vr6 chin spoiler, whereas now i fitted the mk3 golf cl chin spoiler, suits the bumper perfectly.
Just thought i'd give you an idea for the bumper

i guess theres lots of mk 1 golfs there then.
when i went to bosnia in 1996 they were every where just couldnt bring any thing back i was in the army peace keeping with the united nations and most of the cars had bullet holes in them.
