Dashboard needs to come off 91 Volkswagen Cab

dashboard doesn't light up, so ive decided im goling to take it apart and get to the problem myself.
but the only problem is i can't find any information on how to take the dash out.
any ideas?

It will be a fault with your light switch with dimmer function. The striker contact from the dimmer has worn or is out of adjustment, you can take it apart and respring it to make it work....make sure you take it apart carefully as there is a nice micro sized ball bearing that easily gets lost.

the dimmer still lights up certain things though - do you still think thats the problem?
