dashboard conversion

got a mint mk2 driver dashboard from a mate if i want it.

has anyone fitted a mk2 dash, is it easy?

i was thinking that a mk4 polo one would look better personally, but the mk2 one is mint and
if its easier to fit than the mk4 polo, i'll go for that.

Did you manage to get any info on this? Looking into dash conversions myself but struggling to find how to do a mk2 golf into mk1 golf, any info a bonus!

Mk2 dash will go in, but as with any dash conversion, will need modifying.

If by Mk4 polo, you mean the 6n model (Not up on my polos!), check out my build thread (Link in signature) as I am doing one at the moment.

just tried a lupo dash but im struggling , too wide which isnt too much of a problem but it fouls the steering at top where the spline is and the ignition barrel, it seems to be too far back, what did vw use in the mk1 south african golf ?

i think they use a skoda fabia dash in the citi-golfs
