@ gismorat - have you adjusted the lighting level on the rheostat dial above the switch? I remember not knowing about that in my first VW Corrado, I was driving up the M1 late at night and knocked the dial, plunged the dash into darkness and had a brown trouser moment!!!

Yeeh i know about that thanks mate,have had my car for 23 years so i know every nook and cranny,been woithout it for 10 years,never realised that the illumination on the dash was so dull,must be getting old. Even the headlight dont seem bright and i am running 100w dip and 130w full beam,its ok with the grill spots on cause they 8) are 100w
