Dash board Problem

Yo, so i needed to replace my dash Facia(mould around the dials to the radio).
I manged to replace it, but now all the dials work, but the dials backlight & the voltmeter, ammeter and engine pressure backlights dont work, the dials work perfectly fine, just the backlights dont work, checked all the fuses.

Just wanna know if its something simple before i go ripping the dash back out again???

Might be one of the wires in the plug for the light switch has come out of the plug, but before you go check that,  have you checked the dash light dimmer switch isn't turned down accidently.

Word of advise, I had a wire come out of the plug for the light switch and didn't bother disconnecting the battery……… while attempting to fix the problem, I ended up with the wire earthing and melting 3 foot of the loom  8O  8O
