corrosion!!

fixing a bit of corrossion on end of rear vallance, presume it was from inside out, any tip on stopping this onc efixed eg painting waxoyl under seal on inner side?

Hi, although Im a land rover fan first now on our second vw restoration/tidy up, we did the mk1 that I have a question about colour on and Iam now giving son a hand (probably will end up doing it all) a mk1 caddy, back to subject, spray the inside and outside with waxoyl, warm it up slightly to mix wax up then spray into all cavities. It works its way into all gaps and yes it does halt the advance of rust.
