Correct original mats for lhasa 83 GTI???

Anyone know what the correct original mats would look like for an 83 lhasa green gti and anywhere that does repro ones? Thanks

Think they would have been black VW mats to match the mk1 GTI black carpet, VW don't appear to list any specific to the mk1 GTI. In fact weren't mats usually an optional extra - hence the small padded mat built into the carpet on the drivers side :dontknow:

Worth checking with VW if they sell anything black and compatible (Cabby mats?). My mk2 came with black rubber mats that can be trimmed to fit various other models.

Carpet and rubber mats were only an accessory from the dealer. Carpet mats were available a couple of years ago. Maybe they did another run for cabby demand.
