if i remember, they are the same seats as in the mk3 golf..

so… you would need to cut the outside leg on the back of each seat and make it about 20mm shorter an weld it back on again :)

now the back seats… dont try it unless your willing to butcher both the mk1 seats and the corrado seats :)

i did it with mk3 vr6 seats and the problem is, is in the back ot the rado they fold down in a 2 and 1 system but in the mk1 golf they all come down together. PLUS the rado seats are about 2 inches wider.

i welded the frame of the mk1 seats to the top of the back mk3 seats which was the easy part..

i had to butcher the foam of the mk3 seat bottoms and then basically cable tie the leather to the mk1 frame… looks good when done but if you are in the back and dont have your belt on the seat base wobbles lol…

so to recap. the fronts are as easy as making 2 tubes a little shorter and putting up with the slide feature being hard to use but the backs are a totally different kettle of fish :)

hope this helps

I had Rado seats in the front of my Cabby and they fitted in straight away! I've never heard of anyone having to modify them to get them in. Only problem you may have is the height adjuster being on the wrong side. As for the rears, they're way smaller than the back bench in a Cabby which is again smaller than the back seat in a Hatchback so they'll fit in easy. All you'll need to so is fabricate side bolsters to make up the gap and a little welding too!

the front corrado seats do go straight in i remember fitting a pair in my old mk1, the rears however are a pain in the butt to be in and safe , so i gave up
