comments on the my rust?

hi all..

picked the Mk1 up from not so sunny Aberdeen yesterday!.. just cleaned all the muck out of it and taken lots of pics..

have a look and i'd appreciate your comments on how much of a problem the rust on the roof near the sunroof is and the rust on the NS/door is… they are the only big bits of rust on there, other than that there is a small scab on the OS/door and thats it rust wise, i can get a door from my cousin who has a crashed damaged Lhasa Green Mk1 if necessary, i've already robbed the nsr glass out of it. hehe..

lol.. tell me about it.. cant wait to get shut of those frickin' OZ rims and throw my RS's on.. have to make do with a photoshop job for now

That sunroof rot looks nasty.  Doors are and easy fix with better ones and some paint.

Remember to budget for 10 times the rust you can see.  It's a good rule of thumb unfortunatly.

sunroof bit is my main worry, not looking forward to seeing whats underneath.. but its gotta be done!

sunroof and mechanism are fine, its the area before on the roof itself that the rust is attacking…

but i'll keep you in mind cuz ya never know  :roll:

I mean the actual roof as well as sunroof bits
