clutch cable hole in bulkhead repair panel?

anyone know if you can get a repair panel for where the clutch cable goes through the bulkhead?

lawsy (i think?) may be able to help you. he mentioned something the other day about the clutch cable pulling through the bulkhead in his old scirocco, guessing he will have repaired it, drop him a PM?

Yes they do do a repair plate for this that is moulded to fit, its only a small piece the size of a cig packet. Unfortuantly i couldn't tell you where it came from as it was already fitted to the car when i got it. Try somewhere that supplies replacement panels :dontknow:

You can get repair panel from GSF for about ?8 and it is really good quality too about 3 or 4 mm thick.

I couldn't find that GSF part number in their catalogue or online shop.
I did find something called a 'REPAIR PLATE - LARGE' for ?8.75, is that what I'd need to repair bulkhead where clutch cable goes through?

Years ago i just filed a hole the same shape in a plate of metal and tiger selaed that to the inside of the bulhead, saw me thro till the engine bay was painted.  :mrgreen:
