Clipper arch rolling

Fitted some monster rims to the rear of my clipper but you've guessed it their rubbing like a fat birds thighs!!!!!
Anyone tried rolling the arches on one and succesfully fitting the plastic arches back on???

A while back in the GOLF mag there was a How to article on making an arch roller out of a VW wheel jack. I made one and rolled the arches on my Mk2 when I had it. The paint cracked slightly on a couple of arches but I then learned to heat the arches as I rolled them. I had to trim the GTI plastic arces back afterwards, but used black mastic and glued them back on. No problems after that
