Clean/dye

Can somebody please tell me if it's possible to dye my red seats and can I strip the fabric of the seats to wash. Also would it be ok to put in the washer on a low heat?

Well I have seen fabric seats put in the washer with good results & once there off it would give you the chance to make any repairs to the material and the foam base also.

As for dying them you need to know the actual material they are made from and source a dye to match that.

The seats are a standard red seats with black checked. But the red has slightly started to discolour. Where and what dye can be used?

That's the problem you will get sun fade on interiors.

You can buy washing machine dyes, so if you can identify the material you can get an appropriate one for it,you could try ringing Dylon who are a dye manufacturers and explain what your attempting to do.

I reckon the covers would fit in a washer on one go.
